For best results, it is recommended to follow the instructions in the accompanying video. Use light, even strokes and avoid pressing too hard to keep both the steel and the knife in optimal condition. If you are too aggressive, you may scratch the ceramic. Clean the iron with a damp cloth after use to remove metal residue.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
