Kitchen knife with blue handle, especially suitable for children
If the youngest members of the family enjoy helping out in the kitchen, MAC has developed a knife that allows children to participate in tasks like cutting vegetables safely.
The children's knife has several features that increase safety compared to normal kitchen knives. First and foremost, the knife is not pointed, so there's no risk of stabbing with it. Additionally, the heel of the knife is rounded at the back, and in combination with the handle's slightly textured surface, this ensures that the child's fingers do not slip unintentionally. The white line on the knife blade indicates where the knife is sharp – and the knife is sharp! It is also important that it doesn't require too much force to use it.
In addition to this variant, the children's knife is also available in orange, green, and pink.
Maintenance & use
Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.
Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
