Description & specifications

Perceval knives are handcrafted by artisans in their workshop in Thiers, the capital of French knife manufacturing. Their know-how is based on their ability to master various techniques for either fixed blades or folding knives.

Inspired by the simple design and unmatched sharpness of the folding knife Le Francais. The idea was simple – Create a knife with the same qualities as a folding knife. 9.47 appeals to knife connoisseurs by being truly sharp, comfortable to hold, and very beautiful. It cuts equally well in soft white fish as in a thick juicy steak.

Simple and elegant – 9.47 stands out with its sleek and timeless design.

The handle is made of Polyacetal, which is a rigid, hard, and springy plastic material that can achieve a high surface finish. The food industry extensively uses the material as it is easy to clean and is not significantly affected by the cleaning products that are commonly used.

Maintenance & use

Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.

Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
