Description & specifications
HADO Knives is a relatively new player in the game, based in the knife Mecca's capital, Sakai, Japan. They have truly made a name for themselves in the market with their incredibly well-made and coveted products.
This knife is made with rust-resistant powder steel, SG2 in the core & a stainless cladding. They get the "raw" blade from Takefu Knife Village, and it is then sharpened, polished and finished at Hado's workshop in Sakai.
The grind is exceptionally well executed. It is incredibly thin behind the edge and, of course, cuts fantastically. The Fit&Finish is, as we know from Hado, superb. Polished spine and choil, beautiful polishing and a stunning tsuchime finish on top of the blade.
