Description & specifications
Suncraft Senzo SG2 165mm Bunka knife

The Suncraft Senzo SG2 165mm Bunka is an excellent knife that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Suncraft has been a renowned knife maker in Seki City, Japan, since 1959, and their experience shines through in this professional series. Although the design may seem simple, the cutting performance of this knife is nothing short of impressive. It is ideal for both professional chefs and food enthusiasts who want precision and quality in their kitchen.

The knife is constructed with a core of SG2 steel, which is known for its hardness and its ability to hold a sharp edge. The two stainless outer layers protect the core and ensure long-lasting durability. Maintenance and use

To ensure a long life and optimal performance, we recommend avoiding cutting into bone and frozen food. The knife must not be washed in a dishwasher, as this can damage the edge and cause rust, even in stainless alloys. Clean the knife with warm water and a mild soap, and dry it thoroughly after use.

Maintenance & use

Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.

Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
