Yoshikane Hamono SKD 150 mm Honesuki — quality and tradition

The Yoshikane Hamono SKD 150 mm Honesuki is an outstanding knife from the renowned Japanese workshop Yoshikane, which has more than 100 years of experience creating knives of the highest quality. This honesuki is designed to deliver precision and sharpness, making it ideal for breaking down poultry and other tasks in the kitchen. With Kazuomi Yamamoto heading the workshop, every knife is the result of careful craftsmanship and tradition.

The knife is made from three layers of steel with an SKD11 core, giving a hard, keen blade that is semi-stainless. The two outer layers are stainless, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. The handle is elegantly designed in walnut with buffalo horn, giving a comfortable grip and a beautiful look.

Care and use

To maintain the quality of the knife, it is not recommended to use a dishwasher. As the blade is not completely stainless, it is important to rinse and dry the knife thoroughly after use to prevent oxidation.

Maintenance & use

Never cut into bones or frozen items as this may damage the egg. Always wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly immediately.

Please note that both the blade and handle can be seriously damaged and broken if the knife is washed in a dishwasher – this also applies to stainless steel and wooden handles.
