Description & specifications
Yoshikane Hamono, located in Sanjo, Niigata, is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and boasts over 100 years of experience in creating knives of the highest quality. Under the leadership of Kazuomi Yamamoto, they produce knives that are not only functional but also a delight to behold. This 165mm Nakiri knife is a perfect choice for both professional chefs and food enthusiasts who desire precision and sharpness in their kitchen.
The knife is constructed from three layers of steel, with a core of SKD11, which gives a hard and sharp blade in a semi-stainless alloy. This means that the knife can develop a little patina but is resistant to rust. The two outer layers are stainless, which ensures durability and long-lasting sharpness.
The handle is designed in an octagonal shape, crafted from walnut with an elegant buffalo horn ferrule, providing a comfortable and secure grip. This combination of materials and design makes the knife both functional and stylish.
